Human errors are very common! Be it our official work, or be it a casual letter, typos do happen, but sometimes they create an embarrassing situation. Now when a leading publication makes a typo, it is read by lakhs of people and it surely doesn’t go unnoticed.
Forget small errors in casual matters, what about making a grave mistake in the spelling of something related to Cricket, a sport which is the life of India? People are obviously going to kill you for this!
Well, a Ayaz Memon, a famous sports journalist just spotted a ‘BIG TYPO’ in the spelling of ‘Ranji’ in a leading newspaper. He was shocked to see it; the paper had ‘Randi’ instead of ‘Ranji’, can you believe that?
He took to Twitter to share this typo with everyone; have a look at his tweet..
Whoever edited this story needs a kick up his backside. 'Randi Trophy'? For god's sake! pic.twitter.com/tztrqhIEEe

It was very clear that the editor had used auto-correct mode and he didn’t even bother to proofread the same. Yusuf Pathan turned ‘Sufuse Nathan‘ and Pinal turned ‘Final‘, Tushar Deshpande became ‘Tush Spandex’ and Aditya Waghmode became ‘Acidity Demode’, isn’t that embarrassing?
As soon as people saw such errors, they couldn’t keep quiet! Have a look at their tweets;
Horrific writing!
That's actually horrific writing!!! Wow! That's getting-the-boot worthy

Not a very good afternoon for the deskie!
Not a very good 'afternoon' for the deskie I'm afraid. Hope it just goes on to be Acidity Demode for him and not Final Shah

These editors need to be serious before they publish the news, don’t you think so? Once a reader sets a bad impression in his mind about the newspaper, it is hard to change it. Do share your views in our comments section below.
