Ookla, the popular internet speed test provider, has come up with the November results of Speedtest Global Index. Well, it has studied the internet speeds of different countries in terms of broadband and mobile data. For us, there’s no reason to be happy because India’s rank in terms of mobile data is very low.
122 countries were included in the survey & you will be shocked to know that India’s rank is 109. In terms of broadband, India’s rank is! On the broadband front, 133 countries were included in the survey and India’s rank is 76.
According to Ookla, the mobile data speed of India is 8.80 Mbps. Last month, it was 8.83 Mbps, but this time, it’s slightly down.

Want to know which country has the fastest mobile data speed? Well, it’s Norway with a speed of 62.66 Mbps; the 2nd position is occupied by Netherlands, with a speed of 53.01 Mbps speed. Iceland stands 3rd with speed of 52.78 Mbps. Talking about India’s neighbors, China is on the 31st position with speed of 31.22 Mbps, Pakistan is on the 89th position with 13.08 Mbps, Nepal is on the 99th position with 10.97 Mbps speed, Sri Lanka is on the 107th position with 9.32 Mbps speed.

In terms of broadband speed, Singapore has acquired the top position with a speed of 153.85 Mbps. On the 2nd place, we have Iceland with a speed of 147.51 Mbps. The 3rd place has been acquired by Hong Kong with 133.94 Mbps. Coming to India’s neighbors, China has got the 23rd rank with speed of 61.24 Mbps speed, Pakistan has got 126th rank with 6.13 Mbps speed, Nepal has got 92nd position with 14.05 Mbps speed and Bangladesh got the 85th position with 16.14 Mbps speed.
