Have A Look At The First 100 Railway Stations To Enjoy High-Speed Wi-Fi Access

Google is all set for bringing in the free high-speed access to Wi-Fi across 500 railways stations in the country and this is sure to make train journeys fun. The project would be in association with Indian Railways. Google Fiber Project (the one that provides broadband in US) would be used by Google for providing high-speed connection to all.

For digitizing India, this service would expand under the name ‘Project Nilgiri’. Work with tech giants is going on so that Wi-Fi hotspots can be set across various railway stations. This means that high-speed internet can be enjoyed by the commuters in the 1st half hour before there is reduction in the speed. However, the connectivity would be same throughout. The project’s 1st phase is expected to run in a span of 4 months.
