The young Indian cricketer Mayank Yadav is currently the talk of the town because of his raw pace, he has been bowling at the speed of 155km/hr and more in the ongoing IPL 2024.

Mayank Yadav is troubling the opposition batters a lot with his pace, accurate line and length and helping his team Lucknow Super Giants in winning matches. In the match against Punjab Kings, Mayank Yadav took 3 wickets for 27 runs and in the next match which was played against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Mayank ended the match with superb figures of 3/14.

Mayank Yadav was adjudged as the Player of the Match in both the matches and with this, he has become the first cricketer in the IPL history to get the Player of the Match awards back to back in his first two matches.

After the match against RCB, during the post-match presentation, Mayank Yadav said that he is very happy after receiving two Player of the Match awards in two matches and he is happier because his team has won both the matches. He added that his goal is to play for the nation and he feels that it is just the start.

Mayank Yadav missed the last season completely due to injuries but he has come back with improved focus on fitness. He said that there are many factors which play an important role in fast bowling such as diet, training and sleep and he is focusing a lot on his diet and recovery for which he is taking ice bath.

The LSG skipper KL Rahul was also full of praises for his young pacer and said that he is really happy seeing Mayank Yadav bowling so well. Rahul added that Mayank sat in the dug-out patiently for 2 years and then he missed the last season due to injuries but he worked hard with physios in Mumbai.

As per KL Rahul, Mayank Yadav understands that bowling at 155 km/hr is not an easy thing as he had few injuries at such a young age but it really feels good to see that he is taking care of his body and the youngster also has good temperament. Rahul said that behind the stumps is the only place from where he likes to see Mayank Yadav bowl.
