Both Simran and Lucknow Central clashed at the Box Office yesterday, but both of them enjoyed a very poor start. Kangana Ranaut was surrounded by huge controversies since couple of weeks; is this the reason why her movie has not given an up to the mark performance?
The collections could have been more but the numbers are less. Lucknow Central is a movie that revolves around prison break; the content of the movie is very good and this is the reason everyone had high expectations from it.
The occupancy rates of both Simran and Lucknow Central was just 15-20 percent yesterday. Let us check how much the films have earned on the opening day.

The film earned 2.04 crores on the first day. The figure is less considering the kind of content it has.
This Farhan Akhtar starrer received a good review from celebs and critics. Since it was released in just 800 screens, the collection might not be that much. We expect this movie to perform much better over the weekend. People are giving positive word of mouth after watching it and this is the reason, it might witness a growth.

Simran earned better than that of Lucknow Central. Its opening day collections were 2.77 crores.
Kangana has played her character of a Gujarati woman very strongly in this. People have already started talking; they feel that it’s because of her controversial interview that the film has not received appropriate response.
