Lucknow Crowd Teases Naveen-Ul-Haq With Chants Of Virat Kohli, Naveen Reacts

The IPL team Lucknow Super Giants has strong chances of entering the play-offs as currently it is at the 3rd position in the points table with 7 wins in 13 matches that it has played till now. LSG is one of the two teams which debuted last year and if it wins its last league match which will be against KKR (May 20), then it will easily enter the playoffs and if CSK loses its next match, then LSG may end up on the second position in the points table.

LSG’s last match was against Mumbai Indians which it won by 5 runs, the match was played at Ekana Sports City, Lucknow and after winning the toss, MI chose to bowl first. LSG posted a competitive total of 177/3 in their stipulated 20 overs and during the MI innings, fans of Virat Kohli tried to troll the LSG pacer Naveen-ul-Haq who gave a very balanced response. Though LSG won the match, Afghani cricketer had a forgetful day as he gave away 37 runs in his 4 overs and went wicket-less.

During the MI innings, there was a time when Naveen-ul-Haq was fielding on the boundary and some fans of Virat Kohli tried to trouble him by chanting the name of Indian cricketer. Naveen controlled his nerves and instead of reacting in an angry manner he waved his hand indicating the fans to shout louder.

Virat Kohli and Naveen-ul-Haq had an altercation during the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and LSG which was played on May 1 at Ekana Sports City, Lucknow. Later on after the match, both the cricketers once again had a verbal spat when the players of both the teams were shaking hands with each other and it resulted in an ugly spat between Virat Kohli and LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir.

The BCCI took note of this ugly incident and slapped a fine of 100 percent match fees on Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir.

Naveen-ul-Haq was also fined 50 percent of his match fees but this time, he behaved in a mature manner. What do you think?
