“Maaf Kar Do ECB, Dobara Nahi Bulayenge,” Pak Team Trolled After Being Whitewashed By England

The Pakistani cricket team got officially out of the race for the finals of the World Test Championship 2021-23 after it lost the first two test matches of the 3-match series against England. Pakistan had a chance to save some respect by winning the third test match but the English cricket team whitewashed the series by defeating Pakistan in the last test match as well.

The third test match was played at National Stadium Karachi and after winning the toss, Pakistan decided to bat first but the whole team could manage only 304 runs in its first innings with the help of skipper Babar Azam’s 78 runs knock. England took a lead of 50 runs as it scored 354 runs in its first innings and in the second innings, Pakistan managed merely 216 runs which left England with a target of just 167 runs to win the match. Ben Stokes led England team chased the target successfully with 8 wickets remaining and with one day game remaining in the match.

England’s Harry Brook was adjudged as the Player of the Match as he scored a century (111) in England’s first innings and he was also adjudged as the Player of the Series for his superb performance throughout the series.

Pakistani fans were left very disappointed and they not only slammed the team management but skipper Babar Azam as well for the series loss. Check out some selected tweets:

Babar Azam is getting targeted a lot by Pakistani cricket fans because in the recent times, the Pakistani team failed in the Asia Cup, the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 and now it has lost the test series against England. What has irked fans the most is the defeat against Zimbabwe which Pakistan suffered in the T20 World Cup 2022 and no matter how much it brags about reaching the finals, the truth is that it was lucky enough to enter the semi-finals as Netherlands made a big upset by defeating South Africa in the league matches of the T20 World Cup.

Recently, there were reports that the PCB chief Ramiz Raja has been sacked and this is certainly a sign of some big changes that will take place in recent times in the Pakistan cricket system. What do you say?
