Five armed masked men dressed as police officers entered her room and tied up the reality star at gunpoint. And now the famous Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat was assaulted by masked attackers.
Mallika Sherawat, who was with her French boyfriend, Cyrille Auxenfans, were approached in the hallway of his apartment building by three masked attackers. The attackers didn’t say a word, they sprayed the couple with tear gas before punching them.
The incident happened on Friday, November 11, Mallika with her boyfriend cyrille Auxenfans, arrived at the apartment block. The masked men attacked the couple in the building hallway where Auxenfans lives in Paris’ 16th arrondissement. However, the robbers fled empty-handed. The couple called the emergency services after the attackers left.
The investigators are puzzled over the fact that the attackers left empty handed. A source told AFP,
The attackers had tried to take Sherawat’s handbag, they had fled empty-handed. We cannot understand why the attackers fled without taking anything.
Mallika Sherawat’s friend, spoke to CNN, narrated the entire incident.
She and her boyfriend got out of their car and they were entering the building but the doors took time to shut and had not shut when three masked men attacked them. They sprayed them with tear gas and pushed her to the ground and started hitting her boyfriend. One of them tried to grab her bag, but she pushed them away and started yelling and screaming. After a bit of a struggle they ran away.
The attack happened at rue de la Faisanderie, an upscale neighborhood, where Auxenfans lives. This place is 4.3 km (2.7 miles) far from the luxury private mansion in the 8th arrondissement where Kardashian was attacked and robbed.
A criminal investigation has been launched, with detectives working on to catch the reported masked men. However, Mallika hasn’t spoken to the media at this time.
