Arvind Kejriwal just can’t digest PM Modi’s demonetization move. Yes, time and again he has been slamming Modi for his decision. Moreover, he has gone a step ahead and has addressed a rally of laborers, farmers and traders in Delhi’s Azadpur Mandi.
Yes, earlier Manish Sisodia, the Deputy CM and Kejriwal met farmers and traders at Azadpur’s major trading centers to get an idea of the implications of this move. He even took to Twitter to notify everyone that he would be addressing a rally at 11.30 AM. He was even joined by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee.
Addressing this rally, Mamta Banerjee and Kejriwal have given ultimatum to Centre to withdraw this ban within 3 days .They stated that if this ban continues, India would be taken back by 100 years.
Taking an indirect dig at PM Modi, Mamata said
“People talking about plastic economy just because they have travelled few countries. “What do they know about economy? People are dying here and they say it is a surgical strike on black money,”
Moreover, even Delhi CM joined Mamata and said that Demonetization is the biggest scam of India. He added
“People will deposit Rs.10 lakh crore and Modiji will waive off loans amounting to Rs.8 lakh crore given to his corporate friends,”
Further, Kejriwal added that till now around 40 people have died in bank queues. He said that this isn’t patriotism and indirectly held Modi responsible for those deaths.
Talking about the traders Arvind said Azadpur Mandi used to be the busiest market but since this ban was imposed, a great downfall was witnessed and now it is deserted.
