Sushma Swaraj, the External Affairs Minister, has always proved her worth as a politician and as a human being. What’s more, her fierce nationalism had clearly been apparent by the way she handled Amazon Canada which carried doormats showcasing the flag of India. And once again, Sushma has given the proof of her being a nationalist by replying to the man who accused her of supporting only Muslims on Twitter.
Yes, a Twitterati lately posted that Swaraj is biased towards Muslims and assists merely them in getting visas and not Hindus. He tagged both Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the External Affairs Minister in the tweet which read, “Modi Ji @narendramodi Your Sushma @SushmaSwaraj,Only take care Of Muslim Visa. But Hindus are getting harrased to get India Visa. VERY UPSET”

Sushma, according to her straightforward temperament, made up mind of responding so that her clean image doesn’t get maligned. She wrote, “India is my country. Indians are my people. The caste, state, language or religion is not relevant for me.”

There is absolutely no denying the fact that Sushma Swaraj has been worldwide applauded for her prompt reaction on Twitter in addition to the best use of this platform. Ever since she has become the External Affairs Minister, she not only replied to all the tweets asking for assistance but also took swift and necessary steps for making certain that issues got resolved. Her dedication and sincerity can be understood by the fact that she helped the needy even when she was hospitalized due to kidney failure.
Moreover, she sees no boundary when it comes to helping people as she has not helped just Indians but also the non-Indians. Few months back, a British couple was not able to get their daughter who was born of surrogacy and the minister did whatever was possible. How can we forget that she played a very important role in getting back nearly 10,000 migrant workers from Gulf as their salaries were not paid to them and they were living without proper food?
The Foreign Policy magazine named Sushma as one of the 15 “Global Thinkers” of 2016 and appreciated her “for fashioning a novel brand of Twitter diplomacy”.
Just recently, the Amazon officials got to bear her anger when she threatened them of refusal of visas if the e-commerce giant didn’t stop selling doormats with design of the Indian flag.
Amazon must tender unconditional apology. They must withdraw all products insulting our national flag immediately. /1

If this is not done forthwith, we will not grant Indian Visa to any Amazon official. We will also rescind the Visas issued earlier.

Amazon not only stopped selling those doormats but also halted the sale of flip-flops which had photo of Mahatma Gandhi on them.
