This Man Almost Lost His Life Over A Deal Of iPhone 7 But Luckily Got Saved. Here’s What Happened

The Indian court of law goes soft on the juveniles but once again, an incident has taken place which will compel the law makers to amend the laws regarding juveniles, as nowadays, the minors are not afraid of committing heinous crimes.

A minor attacked Ahmed Abdul Sattar Tharani who works in a second-hand mobile retail outlet which is situated in Citi Centre, Goregaon. Ahmed was sent by the store owner to collect two iPhone 7 from a known dealer and for the purpose, he was given Rs. 1 lakh.

Around 4:30 PM, Ahmed reached the dealer’s place where he had to meet a minor who would give him iPhones and he was supposed to pay the cash in return. The minor told Ahmed that he has forgotten the phones in the car so he should come with him to the parking lot.

Ahmed agreed to go to the parking lot with the minor; however, he was aware of the fact that he was breaching the dealer protocol. The minor stabbed him three times in stomach in the parking lot and when he tried to run away, he was attacked at the back. The watchman of the building came running at the spot after listening to the noise but till then, the minor had run away with the money.

Ahmed was quickly taken to the Thane Civil Hospital and as his condition was critical, he was shifted to a private hospital in Goregaon.

Ahmed’s younger brother Arif Abdul Sattar Tharani said,

“We got a call from his employer and then another one from the police, asking us to rush to the hospital as Ahmed was in a bad shape. When we arrived at the hospital, we found that he had multiple stab wounds and was unconscious.”

Ahmed has come back to senses now but still he is under treatment.

The Vartak Nagar police has filed a case against the minor under IPC Section 307 (attempt to murder), however he was granted bail within 24 hours.

The employer of Ahmed, Aftab, has alleged that police has gone soft on the attacker, he said,

“Police has gone soft on the attacker. They have claimed he’s a mentally unstable juvenile, but in FIR, his age is registered as 20.”

Ahmed’s brother-in-law Shoaib Razzaq Kandhal has another point to make. He said,

“The police say they took Ahmed’s statement. But, how could they have done this when he was unconscious for two days? All the money Ahmed had on him was stolen, including the cash in his wallet. Why has the person who stabbed him been let off?”

A police officer has given the confirmation that the attacker was a minor and he was produced before a juvenile court which granted him bail.

Don’t you think it’s high time that we make some serious amendments in the juvenile laws as minors have crossed the limits when it comes to committing crime? Do let us know your opinion in the comments section below.
