The Man Whom Atif Slammed For Molesting Girl Hits Back In Harsh Words, Says He’s The Victim

The safety of women is a genuine concern not only in India but the whole world. However, every now and then, we get to hear about incidents in which women are molested whether on roads, public transport, offices or even by their own relatives.

Some time back, we all were praising singer Atif Aslam as he stopped his concert in the middle to help a girl, who he believed was getting molested. Well, it was definitely an uncalled situation but the question remains whether what we see from our eyes is the real truth or there is some more to know?

The Man Whom Atif Slammed For Molesting Girl Hits Back In Harsh Words, Says He’s The Victim - RVCJ Media

Daily Pakistan has published a report in which the boy, who was scolded by Atif, has claimed that in reality, it is he who has suffered because of mob beating and violence and that he has done nothing wrong; he was just doing his job.

In his words,

“My job was to ensure that nobody crosses over from the non-VIP section to the VIP section without a valid ticket. I saw two girls accompanied by a guy crossing over from the non-VIP section and forcing their way to the front row, like a lot of other people were also doing. There was a lot of rush in the front of the stage and these people were continuing to push through. I confronted these people and politely asked them to either show their VIP pass or go back to their own section, which they refused.”

 He further added,

“That is when these girls started getting violent. They started scratching at my neck and face with their long nails, they slapped me on the face, punched me and incited a whole mob against me. It was exactly at this point, Atif Aslam saw us.”

He is a student of IBA and talked to Daily Pakistan on the condition of not revealing his identity.

He also slammed the singer Atif Aslam for accusing him without even knowing what was happening in reality. As per him,

“Instead of trying to understand the real story, Atif Aslam blamed me, the actual victim. When Atif Aslam said ‘rescue these girls,’ everyone thought I was molesting them and a huge mob started beating me up for no reason. I have never been beaten so badly in my entire life, and that too for just doing my job.”

He went on to say that nobody listens to a male when an allegation is being put by a female. He said,

“Nobody listens to men in our society especially when a woman has said anything against him it; doesn’t matter true or false.”

The authorities at IBA have decided not to make the matter public as per the rules of the university and a probe is going on in the matter.

Taking a look at this case, we actually feel the need of a major change in the society as well as in the mindset of people. Why do we blame a man first? Just because it’s too easy to do it? Don’t you think that this mentality needs to be changed and individuals should think with a broad mind? Men can be victims too and women can be guilty as well. We sincerely hope that the truth comes out and justice is done.
