Eve-teasing or getting molested is something that a large number of girls may have experienced in their lives. Such incidents may happen at any place, be it public transport, malls, markets or cinema theatres and unsurprisingly, not only common people but also celebrities become victims of such pathetic acts.
In a News18 video, actress Sonam Kapoor made a shocking revelation when she spoke about the unfortunate incident when she was molested in a cinema hall. Sonam was speaking during Rajeev Masand’s annual round-table interview which was also attended by actresses Alia Bhatt, Vidya Balan, Anushka Sharma and Radhika Apte.
Here’s what Sonam revealed,
“I was going to watch a Raveena Tandon-Akshay Kumar film to Gaeity theatre. I was with my girl friends; we were 14. We had gone outside to get samosas and I was last while coming back, being the tallest.”
She further added,
“And a man came from behind and held my br**sts. I started shaking and shivering, not knowing what was going on. I was crying but I sat and finished the film. I just felt I had done something wrong. I didn’t talk about it for a good two years. I know a lot many people who’ve gone through stuff like these.”

The actress needs to be praised for showing courage to speak up on this matter despite being a celebrity. The saddest part is that most of the girls can actually relate to this incident but don’t have guts to openly talk about it.
