Mahela Jayawardene, the former Srilankan cricketer, is not just a good batsman but also a great team player as well as a cool captain who has mastered the art of getting the most out of his players on the field. He has been a hungry batsman who has always looked out for runs and this can easily be strengthened by his statistics. Jayawardene has scored 11814 runs in Test matches, 12650 runs in One Day Internationals and 1493 runs in T20Is.
However, he has been in the center of jokes many times because of his name. His first name “Mahela” rhymes a lot with Mahila, which means “a woman” in the Hindi language. A number of memes and gags have been made in this regard and Jayawardene has remained silent on them but this time when a Twitter user mocked him, he gave it back in a perfect manner.
A user posted a pic of the cricketer and wished him on Women’s Day , “Happy women’s day to the best srilankan cricketer”

This naturally enraged Jayawardene and he was in no mood to leave this troll go unpunished. He responded, “You should know the difference of Mahela and Mahila?”
