The instances of theft in trains is not a new thing and it won’t be wrong to say that irrespective of the security measures taken by the train authorities and the government, a passenger needs to be alert and cautious in order to keep himself and his family members safe in the train.
Nowadays, thieves are also coming up with new methods to rob passengers and sometimes they don’t mind taking risk for this purpose.
Currently a video is going viral in which a person who was standing near the door inside the train robs a chain from an elderly woman and jumps from the moving train. But he fell badly as he might have misjudged the speed of the train and though he jumped in order to escape, it resulted in getting him injured so it can be termed as “instant karma”.

Recently most of the chain snatches are doing this . Recently i travelled in yeshwantpur to hyd at around 2:30 AM one guy came and suddenly pool the chain from a passenger while she is sleeping. The guy just jumped out from the train at midnight. Be careful guys

The Indian Railways should also take some more steps for the safety of passengers, at least they can ensure that the doors are locked while the train is moving and any person who is without ticket should not be allowed to board the train irrespective of the fact whether it is an AC coach or a sleeper coach.
