We live in a society where female gender has alway been treated as the weaker sex. No matter how liberal the families become they fail to give equal rights to their sons and daughters. Well, this isn’t their fault, it’s the society that makes them partial. And this partiality prevailing in the society gives others a chance to threaten females and take advantages out of their helplessness.
Irrespective of the matter, females have always been blamed for the crime they never committed. People claim that because of the short dress the girl got raped. Our society believes that if a girl drinks or hangs out with guys then she is characterless but if a guy spends time with numerous girls then he is manly.
Well, with the same mentality this guy tried threatening ‘Taruna Aswani’ after hacking her account and blackmailed her with her private photographs and videos.
He even claimed to make those private pictures and videos public.
“I have access to your all your friends/social media and family and co-workers…contacts that u have and I think some will be happy and some embarrassed to see it”
But he wasn’t aware of the fact that time has changed and females now know how to take a stand for themselves. Taruna instead of getting threatened by him decided to make this matter public and asked people to share this as much as possible to catch that cyber bully.
She wrote in her post…
“As embarrassing as the videos may be ( they were sent to my boyfriend at the time ) I choose to stand up to this man”
She claimed that the person is miles away from her Maryland address and urged people to share her post as much as possible. She believes that somewhere, someone will be able to locate this ‘sick pervert’.

Dear Friends and Family,
I am posting this and emailing you individually as my online identity has been compromised.
I have in the last 24 hours received 2 emails from someone that claims to know me that has hacked into my google cloud back up.
He has been threatening to release some private pictures and videos of me to my friends family and colleagues.
As embarrassing as the videos may be ( they were sent to my boyfriend at the time ) I choose to stand up to this man. Instead of cowering down to his requests. I do this so that other women may take a lesson to stand up to bullies and low life’s like this and may get the confidence to stand up as well in case he is known to us and is targeting all of us, but we’re either too scared, ashamed or clueless in how to manage or handle such situations.
I implore you to share this post with as many people as you know to get the word out. Perhaps someone may be able to locate this person through his digital footprint.
Please help me in nabbing this sick pervert.

Kudos to your brave heart Taruna. It actually takes a lot of strength to take such a huge step. You have shown the world that women aren’t weak anymore. The world needs to understand that women now know how to reply back and take a stand for themselves.
