Manoj Bajpayee’s latest release “Bhaiyya Ji” has failed in impressing the audiences and he must be a little disappointed as it was his 100th movie. The film was directed by Apoorv Singh Karki and it also starred Vipin Sharma, Jatin Goswami, Zoya Hussain, etc. in important roles.
The actor is also working on the third part of the hit web series, The Family Man and recently he gave an interview in which he talked about the times that he spent with the Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan.
Manoj Bajpayee recalled those days and told that they used to share cigarettes when they were a part of Barry John’s theatre group in Delhi. He said that when a person is a member of a theatre group, he will never be able to smoke alone. He added that one cigarette is shared by almost four people because no one could afford to smoke one cigarette alone.
He further said that even if a person can afford to buy a pack of cigarettes or one cigarette, he can’t smoke it alone because others have shared with him in the past and now it is his turn to share with them.
Manoj Bajpayee said that he was associated with the theatre group for few years but Shah Rukh Khan stayed there for few months only as he shifted to Mumbai for starting a career in Bollywood. Manoj Bajpayee shifted to Mumbai only after he worked in Shekhar Kapur’s movie “Bandit Queen”.
Earlier in an old interview, Manoj Bajpayee revealed that it was SRK who took him to discotheque for the first time. He said that Shah Rukh used to come in red color Maruti van which was a big thing in those days. He added that SRK took him to discotheque in Taj, Delhi and they both had got out of their adolescent age at that time.
