Yesterday, Manushi Chhillar was crowned Miss World 2017 and the whole nation celebrated this win. This 20 year old model from Haryana won everyone’s hearts with her beauty and her intelligent answer. Since the time this news broke out on Twitter, everyone was super-excited.
It was after 17 years that India got this title again; last was in 2000, when Priyanka Chopra became Miss World and made us proud. She was among top 5 contestants, others being Mexico, Kenya, France and England.
With this win, India equaled Venezuela to get most victories in the history of Miss World. Chhillar took to Twitter to announce her victory and dedicate the same to India. Here’s her tweet…
