Maulvi Issues Fatwa Against Sonu Nigam To Shave His Head! Sonu Nigam Takes Trolling To Another Level

Since 2 days, Sonu Nigam is trending on social media for his comments about Azaan. Even though he spoke against loudspeakers, many people misunderstood him and gave him the “Anti-Muslim” tag. After an FIR was filed against him in Aurangabad, a Muslim cleric Syed Sha Atef Ali Al Quaderi issued a fatwa against him and threw an open challenge.

Maulvi Issues Fatwa Against Sonu Nigam To Shave His Head! Sonu Nigam Takes Trolling To Another Level - RVCJ Media

He said that whoever shaves off Sonu’s head will get a reward of Rs 10 lakhs. Without coming under pressure, Sonu took to Twitter to announce that he will shave off his head in front of the media at a press conference and also asked him to keep Rs 10 lakhs ready. Heights of trolling, LOL!

Reacting to the Maulavi’s challenge, Sonu tweeted;

Talking to the media, Sonu said,

“Everyone has right to his opinion and I only spoke about loudspeakers. I spoke about a social issue, not any religion. I said it for temples, gurudwaras and mosques, why is it so hard to comprehend?”

Talking about his Prophet Mohammad comment, Sonu said,

“People are asking why I said Mohammad and not Mohammad Sahab in my tweets. Well, I would like to explain that it is the problem of explaining myself in English language. In Hindi I will see Krishnaji or Shivji but while speaking in English it becomes Krishna or Shiva. It was the same when mentioning Mohammad. My intent was not to slam the prophet in any way.”

He also spoke about his own Jagrans and stated,

“Yes, I sing at jaagrans but they are over by 10 pm as per government rules. It is all about timing and when I sing at religious events, I ensure rules are followed.”

Here’s how Twitter users reacted when they came to know Sonu shaved off his head!
