Mayank Agarwal Gives A Hilarious Advice To Fans While Praising Axar Patel On AMA Session

The Indian cricket team will be leaving for South Africa on December 16 and before that, the Indian cricketers are spending their three days quarantine period in Mumbai. The Indian batter Mayank Agarwal is also a part of the squad so he decided to interact with his followers on Instagram by conducting the ‘Ask Me Anything’ session.

While the followers of Mayank Agarwal asked various questions to him, the Indian spinner and Mayank’s friend Axar Patel also made up mind to have some fun so he posed as a fan and asked, “Mayank sir big fan aap apne fans ke liye kya kehna chahoge?” (Mayank Sir, I am a big fan of yours, what you will like to say to your fans?)

Mayank Agarwal was also in a great mood and he gave a wonderful reply as he wrote, “Keep supporting and believing. Bas left arm spin mat daalo, bahut stiff competition hai.” (Don’t bowl left-arm spin because the competition is very tough.)

Axar Patel responded with, “Oye hoye hoye hoye what a player”.

Though Axar Patel has emerged as a good spinner of the present times, he was not able to get a place in the Indian squad for the South African tour. In the five test matches that Axar Patel has played for the country, he has taken 36 wickets and five times he has taken a five wicket haul which speaks highly of his capability to take wickets. If we talk about ODIs and T20Is, he has taken 45 and 13 wickets in 38 ODIs and 15 T20Is, respectively.

The former Kiwi cricketer Craig McMillan has also praised the Indian spinner as well as talked about why Axar Patel has not got place in the Indian squad for overseas tours. According to McMillan, though not much is said and talked about Axar Patel yet the spinner has a great record. He adds that there is no doubt he is getting overshadowed by Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja because of which he doesn’t get selected for the foreign tours as India usually plays two spinners overseas but in home conditions, India plays with three spinners and this is when he plays an important role in the team.

Axar Patel certainly has a bright future. What do you say?
