Radhika was working in the HR department of Reliance and now she is the owner of a food cart. She sells cooked food in Mohali’s Industrial area, phase-8 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Radhika is basically from Ambala and after completing B.Com, she moved to Chandigarh for pursuing MBA from Landran Group of Colleges. In Chandigarh, she lived in a PG; while her studies were going fine, it was the food which was a problem.

Food was either not tasty or uncooked and the amount that she used to pay was hefty. Radhika faced the same problem during her job and from there, she got the idea that if she would ever do something on her own, it would be related to providing food to working people.

Radhika also told about the problems she had to encounter while starting her work. The biggest hurdle was to convince her family members for this new business. Somehow she managed to convince her parents and invested her own savings which she made during job period.

She has herself designed the cart and now she is planning to buy one more food cart for selling food in IT Park, Chandigarh. She cooks 70 plates daily and the success of her food cart is giving her confidence to open a hotel as well.
