Meenakshi Seshadri, the beautiful senior actress who has stopped working in movies since 1990s has mesmerized us with her performances in various films. She was one of the most popular actresses of 1980s and 90s and she has worked with almost all the big actors of those times such as Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra, Rishi Kapoor, Sunny Deol, Jackie Shroff, etc.
Meenakshi Seshadri started her acting career with “Painter Babu” in 1983 but the movie failed at the box-office. She attained fame with Subhash Ghai’s “Hero” (1983) in which she worked with Jackie Shroff who was also a newcomer at that time.
Recently, Meenakshi gave an interview in which she talked about various things including her experience of working with Sunny Deol. She revealed that they both worked together for the first time in “Dacait” and there is a romantic song in the movie in which they had a kissing scene. In the flick, they are on the boat and before the song starts, Sunny kisses her. She added that she was a little nervous as she was a conservative person but things went smoothly as Sunny is a gentleman and easy to work with.
Meenakshi further said that because of Sunny’s good nature, she shared a good equation with him in all other movies as well in which they worked together.
The 60 years old actress was last seen in the sequel of “Ghayal” which was titled as “Ghayal: Once Again” and Sunny Deol was last seen in “Gadar 2” which was a blockbuster at the box-office. Currently, he is shooting for “Lahore 1947” which is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by Aamir Khan.
