When it comes to President of the country, what we Indians can think of is an old politician but Croatians are really lucky as they have got a female President this year, who is as hot as a model or movie star.
We are talking about Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, a Croatian politician who became the President on 19 February, 2015. She is the first woman to become the President of the Republic.
47-yr Kolinda is married to Jakov Kitarović since 1996 and the couple has two children – Katarina and Luka.
Kolinda has also served in NATO as Assistant Secretary General for Public Diplomacy and there also she was the first woman to be appointed in this position. From 2005 to 2008, she served the country as Minister of Foreign Affairs in the cabinet of Ivo Sanader I. Not only this, she has also worked as Croatia’s ambassador to the United States from 2008 to 2011.
