Meet Narendra Modi’s Look-Alike! You Won’t Even Recognize That He’s Someone Else!

Narendra Modi is one of a kind, surely there is no one like him on this planet. But what if I told you, there’s someone who looks exactly like him. And at first glance, even you couldn’t differentiate between him and Narendra Modi. This person bears a very close physical resemblance to the PM of India.

Take a good look at this picture and tell me if you could spot the differences.

Narendra Modi

Yes, a close inspection reveals that the two persons are different. One is the PM of India, Narendra Modi. The other person in the picture is his lookalike Vikas Mahante, a 52 year old businessman from suburban Malad Mumbai.

Vikas Mahante, a resident of Jankalyan Nagar, promoted Narendra Modi during the Lok Sabha elections. He proved to be a terrific crowd puller due to his physical resemblance to Modi.

Vikas Mahante has campaigned for many candidates and proved to be a crowd-puller for the BJP and Shiv Sena in Mumbai.

Vikas Mahante came into spotlight when a couple of photographers spotted him at an event and noticed the uncanny resemblance to Narendra Modi. And soon he started campaigning for BJP.

Since Modi cannot be everywhere at the same time, and he’s the face of the saffron alliance. Mahante campaigned for the party and his presence attracted the crowd.

When Vikas Mahante was asked how it feels to be mobbed as a Modi lookalike, he recalled an incident.

There was another time not too long ago when people at a political rally spotted me in a car and started following me around, chanting “Modi… Modi… hum tumhare saath hain!” The security personnel had a tough time protecting me from the crowd. They had to separate me from the “fans” who thought I was the real Modi.

There are many other similarities that Mahante shares with the PM, besides his physical appearance, mannerisms and attire, Mahante says that like Modi he also loves poetry.

Mahante runs a packaging business out of Vasai. Currently he is not a member of any political party. But if any party gives him the right opportunity, he might join politics. He sees politics as an opportunity to help people and to connect with them.
