Michael Vaughan Is Really Impressed With Virat Kohli & Team For Their Tribute To Pulwama Jawans

India played against Australia in their third one day international in Ranchi yesterday, where the latter won by 32 runs. But yesterday’s match had a significance associated with it.

Yesterday, our men in blue replaced their traditional caps with camouflage ones in an attempt to pay a tribute to the 44 CRPF jawans who lost their lives in the Pulwama tragedy of 14th February.

Before the match began, MS Dhoni was seen handing out these camouflage caps to his team mates and he also received the same from Virat Kohli. This move struck a chord with the Indian audience, and they felt that this was a heart rendering gesture.

In fact, a lot of sports personalities even tweeted in favour of the incident. Harsha Bhogle was one of them.

He said, “So the Indian team will wear army camouflage style caps today in tribute to, and in solidarity with, the armed forces. Maybe in future, one cricket day will be dedicated to the armed forces. No surprise this is a Dhoni initiative.”

This move also earned the respect of Michael Vaughan who also tweeted in favour. He said that this is a really good gesture on part of the Indian team to show extend their support for the armed forces.
