Every bowler has his own style of bowling and we enjoy seeing that; however, we were surprised to see a miracle delivery coming from Mitchell Santner.
Well, he recently joined the league of those awesome spin bowlers who have delivered a carom ball and taken a wicket. It indeed looked miraculous when Santner dismissed Fakhar Zaman, the Pakistan opener, at 54 runs.
His delivery indeed amazed not only the batsman himself but also commentators.
Instead of revolving, the ball pitched outside the leg stump of Zaman and it turned into an offspinner. Zaman couldn’t figure out well, which is why the turn of the delivery took his wicket.
In the pictures, it was seen that Santner’s middle finger was folded behind the ball. When it headed towards Fakhar Zaman, it took an immediate turn and didn’t revolve like the normal spin delivery.

This delivery is called the “Carrom ball” and in this, the bowler uses his middle finger for turning the ball around. This version has been performed by Ajanta Mendis (Sri Lanka) and R Ashwin).
With this, he broke the strong 86 run partnership between Harris Sohail and Fakhar Zaman. Even his team was super happy with this miraculous delivery.
