On Wednesday, a 32 year old model lodged a complaint against Mika Singh, claiming he molested her. However, Mika Singh filed a counter-complaint and alleged extortion. A senior police official stated that an FIR was registered by the model at Versova Police Station under IPC sections 504 (Intentional Insult), 323 (Voluntary causing hurt) and 354 (Outranging woman’s modesty)
That model would often visit Mika Singh’s house, the official added. However, Mika denied these charges and later in the evening, lodged a counter complaint stating she made attempts of extorting money from him.
Yes, Mika said that the model was demanding 5 crores from him and also threatened that she would ruin his career if she doesn’t get the said amount. This is Mika’s public statement;
“Today morning at around 5am one girl barged into my premises by entering through window and started abusing me and assaulting me and my staff and started threatening if I don’t pay her 5 crore she will ruin my career and register a false case against me. I have already informed versova police in writing regarding the threats and extortion. I don’t know who this girl is. I have all the evidence against this girl of she demanding money from me and I have informed the police about this incident. Police is investigating the matter and truth will be out soon.”
