PM Modi has just wrapped up his maiden trip to Meghalaya, a beautiful state in the North-East and looking at the pictures and video that he posted on twitter, it seems as if the trip was an enjoyable one!
Modiji visited Meghalaya for attending North Eastern Council’s 65th Plenary meeting. This Saturday he was seen in Mawphlang, clicking pictures and enjoying the beauty of that region. Moreover, he also tried his hands on Khasi drums, which is a popular art form there.
The PM couldn’t resist himself from updating these pictures and video on Twitter! Have a look!

Here’s the video of Modiji trying his hands on drums!
First they taught me how to play it & then one of them patted me on the back. A special moment. Honoured & humbled.https://t.co/LFf3iZ0Ekv

The PM said “First they taught me how to play it and then one of them patted me on the back. A special moment. Honoured and humbled. No bigger privilege than being lauded by the people of the nation,”.
The PM seems to enjoy these musical instruments on all his trips. Earlier, we saw him playing Taiko drums on his trip to Japan and then, on his trip to Mongolia, we saw him playing the Morin Khurr, a traditional fiddle.
Have a look at some of his pictures too!
