Modi's "Maine Chai Bechi Hai" Statement Invites Jokes & Trolls On Twitter. Tweets Are Funny - RVCJ Media

PM Modi has time and again been criticized for selling Chai. No doubt, he had poor origins, but we must never forget that he is leading our country and is doing so well. We must appreciate that he has grown from a tea seller to the PM of our country; there would hardly be anyone who can achieve such a big thing!

Still, people keep trolling him and taking a dig at his tea profession. Even the opposition party keeps making fun of him, by indirectly calling him “Chaiwala” through memes and jokes on social media platforms.

Now, during Gujarat elections, Prime Minister gave a befitting reply to all those jibes. He just said one sentence, “Maine chai bechi hain desh nahi (might’ve sold tea but not the nation).”

The entire statement read, “The Congress dislikes me because of my poor origins. Can a party stoop so low? Yes, a person belonging to a poor family has become PM. They do not fail to hide their contempt for this fact. Yes, I sold tea but I did not sell the nation”

It’s obvious that the PM might not be liking such comments every now and then, which is why he chose to give a reply.

This statement “Maine chai bechi hai” has given rise to lots of memes and trolls on Twitter. Have a look at some;
