Racism and religious topics are the greatest threats to Indian society. Yes, whenever we browse some site or read the newspaper, there will always be some news of people fighting over religion. One hot topic of discussion is that of “Purdah of Muslim women”. This is indeed the worst topic and has angered many free-minded people.
Shouldn’t the society get over this typical stereotyping? Well, the latest victim of this is none other than famous international cricketer Mohammed Shami, who posted an image with Hasin Jahan, his wife, on Facebook. People lashed out at him because his wife was wearing a sleeveless gown.
As soon as he posted the image, FB users started criticizing him and posting derogatory comments for him. They slammed him for not making his wife wear a hijab and not covering her. Is it justified? He is the same person who played for Team India even when his daughter was in hospital. Such is the dedication of this man towards the nation.
