Mona Singh is one of the finest actresses of the industry and she has proved her acting skills by playing different characters in TV serials, movies and web series as well. Currently, she is enjoying the success of her web series Made in Heaven season 2 and in a recent interview, she narrated an interesting incident that happened while she was working in Rajkumar Hirani directed “3 Idiots” which starred Aamir Khan, R Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Boman Irani and others.
In “3 Idiots”, Mona Singh played the character of Kareena’s elder sister and she said that she was bored of the rehearsals for the movie. She said that she met the entire team during the shoot as she was working with them for the first time. As a TV actor, she was not used to of rehearsals and they had around 100 rehearsals and every time, Aamir Khan used to come up with something new.
She further said that once when she got very bored, she asked Aamir why they are doing so many rehearsals. In response, Aamir said that this is not a TV serial in which they have to send an episode tomorrow, this is a movie which will get released next year and they will work hard and shoot one scene in a day.
Mona Singh also worked with Aamir Khan in Laal Singh Chaddha, in this movie she played the character of Aamir’s mother and she was praised a lot for her acting performance.
