But today a new case of Philanthropy was evident when a Business Tycoon & WIPRO’S Multi-Billionaire founder Azim Premji has given away about half of his stake in the company for charity purpose. The said percentage of stake totals about Rupees 53,284 Crores. That’s right 532840000000 Rupees to charity.
Doin this Mr. Azim Premji becomes first Indian to sign the Giving Pledge, initiated by Warren Buffett and Bill Gates which talks of an initiative to call in all the Muti-Billionaires of the world to donated their majority of the Income towards charity.
