Parents are truly concerned about their children, and this women has gone beyond every set rules to make sure that her daughter is protected and safe. So, in order to save her daughter from the increasing rate of this heinous crime of rape, the mother from Kalwa shaved her daughter’s head. And, the reason stated is if she looks ugly, no body will rape her.
Actually,six months ago, the 13 year-old daughter was raped twice by two youths. The 13 year-old girl lives with her parents in the Shanti Nagar slum colony of Kalwa.The two young boys who committed the crime, Babu alias Mohammad Liyakat Ali Mullah (22) and a 16-year-old boy had been arrested by the police.
However, the Babu who is out on bail threatened the girl’s family members and warned them that if they do not withdraw the complaint, he would rape the girl again. And, thus fearing the worst, the girl’s mother clean shaved her to make the girl look ugly so that she does not get raped once again at the hands of the accused.
The terrorized family members of the girl have met the senior police officers after which offences were registered against the duo. The Kalwa police has registered a case against the two rapist under Section 376, Section 342, Section 354, read with Section 34 and Section 506 of the Indian Penal Code as well as Section 8 of the POCSO Act, 2012.
It was during July 30, 2014, she was molested by the two youth, and later raped by the young boys, identified as Babu And Rohit.
