Mother Tried To Drown 3-Week Baby Into Washing Machine In Kerala - RVCJ Media

In Kerala, a lady alleged to be harassed by her in-laws made an attempt to drown her 3-week baby into washing machine.

Firstly, The Woman Said It Was An Intruder Who Did It

According to cop, it was on Thursday night that Fazna Hayaruddin, toddler’s mother, living in Kozhikode raised the alarm at which neighbors hurried for helping her. She told them about an anonymous intruder throwing chilli powder on her and thereafter fleeing subsequent to throwing the infant in washing machine.

At first, the woman made claims of herself and the baby being assaulted by an unknown attacker, cop became doubtful when she made conflicting statements on their queries. However, the cop later excluded any probability of its being true as there were no signs of any trespasser as well as the alleged chilli powder had been taken from the home’s kitchen.

After Intruder, It Was The Turn Of Her Husband To Be Accused Of Committing The Crime

Fazna altered her statement once again and this time it was her husband whom she blamed of throwing her child into washing machine. Not only this, she even went on to say that her in-laws were also involved in the course of interrogation. Nevertheless, since there was no evidence of a burglar, Fazna further confessed that it was she who played this drama for convincing Fayaruddin, the infant’s father, to shift. The toddler is hospitalized and a case has been lodged, however, Fazna is not arrested so far.

Is Fazna Suffering From Post Natal Depression?

As per cop, Fazna went through the depression all through her pregnancy in view of the fact that she conceived for the second time when the first child was of 6-months merely. The injured baby is going through treatment at Institute of Maternity and Child Health Kozhikode and is recovering. Cop will further interrogate Fazna this week.
