The Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor is touted as one of the best actors of present times and it is not just his fans who believe it, his contemporaries also praise him for his flawless and intense acting performances.
The “Animal” actor will be seen next in “Ramayana”, a movie based on the Hindu epic and is being directed by Nitesh Tiwari. No official announcement has been made by the makers in this regard but the shooting has started and quite a few photos of the actors from the sets have also gone viral.
While Ranbir Kapoor is playing the character of Bhagwan Rama, the famous southern actress Sai Pallavi is portraying the character of Maa Sita, actor Arun Govil who played the character of Bhagwan Ram in Ramanand Sagar’s serial Ramayana is playing the character of Maharaja Dashrath and Lara Dutta is said to be playing the character of Kaikeyi.
Recently, the casting director Mukesh Chhabra appeared in a podcast and when he was asked why Ranbir Kapoor was casted for the role of Bhagwan Ram, he said that Ranbir is the best choice for this role because he has calmness on his face. Nitesh Tiwari had thought of casting him long way back and it was a correct decision. Mukesh Chhabra said that the audiences will also realise that this decision was correct once they watch the movie.
Though the producers tried their best to not let the clips from the sets get leaked by applying no-phone policy on the sets and also by putting curtains and security guards on the location, still some photos went viral on the Internet.
