Working in Bollywood is a passion for many people but very few actually get the chance to fulfill their dreams. There is no doubt that the actors who play lead characters get more popularity than villains but there are few actors who have ruled the hearts of audiences despite playing negative characters.
One such actor is Mukesh Rishi who is a pretty known face for Hindi movie lovers!
Remember the dialog, “Mera naam hai Bulla, rakhta hun khulla”?
In the initial stage of his career, he was a model in New Zealand; nevertheless, he came to India for trying his luck in the field of acting.
Mukesh has played the character of villain in several movies; in fact, there was a time when he was famous as Ranga Rao. It was not difficult for him to bring life to any character that he played, be it in “Jadwaa”, “Ghatak” or any other flick.
A number of films in which Mukesh has played negative character have been super hits. However, for quite some time now, this talented actor has not been seen in Hindi films.
It was in Akshay Kumar starrer “Khiladi 786” in the year 2012 that Mukesh was seen playing a prominent character of Ikhattar Singh. Ever since, he didn’t get any major role.
He is presently seen on TV too as he is a part of serial “Prithvi Vallabh” which is aired on Sony TV.
Nowadays, the 60-yr actor is mostly seen in Punjabi, Telugu, Kannada and Bhojpuri movies as he is not getting work in Hindi films.
It seems that Bollywood has not given the recognition to Mukesh’s work that he deserved. What do you say?
