After Mumbai, It Is Time For IPL To Be Kicked Out Of Jaipur Too!  Check Out The Reason!

After the IPL matches were shifted by Bombay High Court out of Maharashtra, the drought-hit zone, after the 30th of April, 3 matches were proposed to be played in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan.
However, a PIL was filed by Mahesh Pareek, a freelance journalist on Wednesday, in the court, which challenged the move for shifting matches to Jaipur, which is also facing the water issue.

Why matches must be shifted to Jaipur?

After this, notices were issued to BCCI and State Government asking why the matches must be shifted to Jaipur, even though it is hit by water crisis. A reply has to be given by the Rajasthan government by the 27th of April.

After the verdict of the Bombay High Court, Mumbai Indians took the decision of playing 3 home matches in Jaipur. This was when RCA had proposed Jaipur as a substitute voluntarily. Later, the BCCI was approached by the State Government for hosting the matches at Sawai Man Singh Stadium.
BCCI had agreed but the only condition was that RCA must be kept out of the affair since it is facing suspension to elect Lalit Modi, the former IPL commissioner as the president in spite of warnings.
