There are so many reasons to love Mumbai. Its captivating and vibrant atmosphere has always been attracting people from all parts of the country. Moreover, Mumbai has given us one more reason to love it!
Yes, Mumbai has got its 1st park under the flyover! Named the Nanalal D Mehta Garden, this park is located under Tulpule flyover on Matunga’s Dr. Ambedkar Road.
Mayor Snehal Ambedkar inaugurated this park and the ceremony was attended by residents as well as politicians. The opening would have happened years back, but due to war between 2 political parties i.e. Shiv Sena and Congress, it got delayed.
The main intention was beautifying the space and getting rid of gamblers who used to house their shops there. There is a children’s park in this beautiful space, however the main attraction is its 600 meter jogging track which has a shape like Narmada river.
However, the park is completed now and the view is just so mesmerizing! Wouldn’t you like to have a look at some more pictures?
