They shared this exciting news with fans on social media, marking the end of the production phase.
A picture from the final day of shooting is going viral online, showing Munawar Faruqui, Krystle D’Souza and Ashi Singh enjoying a boat ride in Mauritius.
Speaking about the experience, the Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui said this in the media statement:
“This journey has been nothing short of incredible. Wrapping up First Copy in Mauritius feels surreal—like the perfect culmination of all the hard work, creativity, and passion poured into this project. The character, the story, and this breathtaking location made the experience truly special. I’ve grown so much as a performer and as a person through this process. May Allah guide and bless us all. I can’t wait for everyone to see what we’ve created.”
Directed by Farhan P Zamma and produced by Salt Media and RVCJ, First Copy is set in the late 1990s, and it focuses on the underground world of film piracy during the DVD era. Munawar plays a morally complex character navigating this shadowy scene.
