When the country is broiling over the Dadri murder case, a Muslim youngster from Lucknow has done something which will further strengthen the Lakhnavi tradition of mutual tolerance.
In Dadri, one person was killed as it was rumored that he and his family was eating cow meat while in Lucknow a Muslim youngster saved a cow which had fallen in the 60 feet deep well, he was highly appreciated by everyone including the city administration as well for his heroic act.
Yesterday, a cow fell accidently in the 60 feet deep well in Aishbagh police station area, a youngster Mohammad Zaki jumped into the well to rescue her. The well is in the Muslim majority area and the crowd gathered there also helped Zaki in saving the cow, without even waiting for getting help from the local administration.
The cow was pulled out safely of the well, Raj Shekhar, the District Magistrate of Lucknow and the Lucknow Police praised Mohammad Zaki.
Raj Shekhar posted this on his social media account, “Hats off to the man…long live communal amity in Lucknow”
In a same type of event, a calf was saved by four Muslim boys from a sewer manhole which comes under the Gomti Nagar police station.
