A very shameful case of moral policing has come to light in Mangaluru where a Muslim guy had been stripped and when that did not satisfy people, they tied him to an electric pole. This whole drama took place after the man was seen with a female Hindu colleague. What’s more, the poor man was beaten for over 1 hr just because accompanying a Hindu lady.
Here it needs to be mentioned that the 29-year guy works as a Manager in an accessories shop and the lady whom he accompanied works as a salesgirl there.
As per an HT report, the victim told police that lady required a lone of Rs. 2,000 so they were moving to an ATM close by and this is when attackers assaulted him. The attackers group did not leave the lady too and asked her questions as well as humiliated her as she made an attempt to interfere.
What is more, the attackers clicked pics of the victim as he was tied to the pole and later circulated the pictures on social media. The man is taken into hospital since he has got severe injuries.
