This Is All You Must Know Today, Ayodhya Temple To Reconstruct A 300 Year Old Mosque

In our country we have all grown up seeing differences between the Hindus and Muslims regardless of what the issue. There has always been something or the other reason that causes communal violence and abuse. It’s very rare that we see an example of unity and affection among these religions. This update is surely going to change the mind set of every individual who is of the same opinion.

The Times of India gave us this good news that the Hanumangarhi Temple Trust in Ayodhya has allowed to reconstruct a 300 year old mosque that was built with the consent of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb in Ayodhya in the 17th century. What’s more important is that the trust is not just granting the permission but is also keen on baring the expenses of the reconstruction of the Aalamgiri Masjid. The land of this mosque is owned by the trust since 1765.

After the Babri Masjid was demolished in 1992, it had caused communal riots across the country, becoming yet another event of increasing hatred and division among the Hindu-Muslim Community. But this time when a local civic body declared Aalamgiri Masjid ‘hazardous’ and put up a notice banning entry into the building urged the local Muslims to request Hanumangarhi’s chief priest Mahant Gyan Das to grant permission for it’s restoration.

It was so thoughtful of priest Mahant Gyan Das that he not only approved the petition but also strive to fund for the same. These were his words: “I asked our Muslim brothers to renovate and reconstruct the masjid on our expense and also issued no objection certificate for Muslims to offer namaz as this is also a `Khuda ka ghar’.

This is a sign of the growing harmony among the communities. Hope this continues to be the scenario for a peaceful living in our country. Am I correct?? Please share your response to this mews in the comments section below.
