Bangladeshi pacer Mustafizur Rahman who is known as Fizz and is touted as the best Bangladeshi pacer of the present times also feels that the IPL can be of great help to a player in making him perform well at the international level. Mustafizur Rahman played an important role in his team’s recent win in the T20I series which Bangladesh played against Australia and won by 4-1 as he took 7 wickets in 5 matches and gave only 60 runs in the 17 overs that he bowled throughout the series.

Shakib Al Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman are the only two Bangladeshi players who are playing in the IPL and most probably they both will appear in the second part of the league as well which will be played from September 19.

Mustafizur who plays for Rajasthan Royals is quite confident of performing well in the upcoming New Zealand series, IPL 2021 and the T20 World Cup as he thinks that he is in good rhythm. While speaking to a cricketing portal, he says that in his opinion, playing in the IPL not just increases his confidence but also helps him in giving good performance at the international level because if a player can give good result in the IPL where the world’s best players take part, it becomes easier for him to repeat his success at the international platform.

As far as the first leg of the IPL 2021 is concerned, Mustafizur was a part of RR’s playing squad in all the seven matches and he took 8 wickets. The tournament got suspended after India was hit by the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic and Mustafizur Rahman is quite sure that if he is able to play well in the second leg of the league which is going to be played in UAE, he will certainly be able to repeat his success in the T20 World Cup as it will also be conducted in UAE.
