The Indian team seems to be in a strong position in the second test match against West Indies which is being played at Queen’s Oval Park, Port of Spain as the visitors have posted a total of 288/4 by the end of day 1. The skipper Rohit Sharma and young Indian cricketer Yashasvi Jaiswal gave the Indian team a great start as they produced a partnership of 139 runs for the first wicket, while the skipper scored 80 runs, the young cricketer scored a half-century (57 runs) in the second test match of his career.
Though India lost Shubman Gill and Ajinkya Rahane early, Virat Kohli along with Ravindra Jadeja stabilized the Indian innings. Virat Kohli played a resolute innings of 87 runs not out for which he played 161 deliveries and his innings included 8 fours.
Virat Kohli is certainly the greatest of all times and he is adored and admired not just by Indian cricket fans but by foreign cricket fans as well and one of his admirers was standing very close to him during this second test match. We are talking about the West Indian wicketkeeper-batter Joshua Da Silva who praised King Kohli on few occasions. As Virat Kohli completed his half-century in his 500th international match, Joshua asked him to get a century in this match which he wasn’t able to do in the last test match.
