Nargis Fakhri has been missing from the silver screen after her last movie “Banjo” bombed on the box-office but the actress is making a comeback soon with “Amavas” which is slated to release on February 8. She will be seen with Sachiin Joshi in the film which is directed by Bhushan Patel.
Nevertheless, Nargis is currently in news for all the wrong reasons, as she is not taking part in the promotions of the flick. In fact, she has left the country without informing the production team, leaving everyone bitterly disappointed.
She arrived in India in the first week of January for the promotional activities and as per a source, she was even present at the movie’s trailer launch that took place on 5th January. Subsequently, she had a busy schedule with promotional events and interviews fixed for the next 10 days.
Nargis honoured her commitments on January 6 and 7 but the problem started when journalists showed more interest in her personal life rather than the movie or her career. She got irritated when the reporters asked her questions about her break-up with Matt Alonzo and chances of her getting back together with actor Uday Chopra.
She started behaving irrationally and cancelled the interviews which were going to take place on January 9. Actor Sachiin Joshi had to make an appearance on the singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa but Nargis didn’t arrive. What was more shocking for the makers was that Nargis was not even in the country at that time and while they were requesting her to return, she was not even responding.
It is also being said that initially the movie was supposed to release on January 18 but the release was postponed considering that Nargis’ presence in the promotions will be beneficial for the flick. However, this behavior on the part of the actress is not going to help her career in any manner.
