As per media reports, a friend of Anushka Sharma has highlighted that Virat had invested 40 crore for her film ‘Bombay Velvet’.
This film by Anurag Kashyap also starred Ranbir Kapoor along with Anushka. This film saw Karan Johar in a negative role.
It took around 120 crores to make this film but it miserably failed at the box office. It could earn only 24 crores.
After this failure, when Virat spoke to Anushka about the money he had invested, she felt bad. After this, their relationship started facing lots of ups and downs. Virat declared himself as single on social media and now he too has started realizing that his money is all gone.
