There have been many revelations regarding the Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh after his conviction and many questions have been raised on the alleged father-daughter relation between Gurmeet Singh and Honeypreet.
Dera chief is just 13 yrs elder to Honeypreet & they live like husband & wife:
Vishwas Gupta, ex-husband of Honeypreet, accused both of them of having illicit relations and fooling the followers and common public by telling them that Honeypreet is the adopted daughter of Ram Rahim. He said that Ram Rahim is just 13 yrs elder to Honeypreet and they both live like husband-wife and not father-daughter.
He asked,
“Which father makes his daughter sleep on his bed? She always used to be with him.”
After Honeypreet’s marriage with Vishwas, she spent first night with Gurmeet Singh in his cave:
He also said that even after his marriage with Honeypreet (real name – Priyanka Taneja), she spent the first night in cave with Ram Rahim. He told the media persons in Chandigarh on Friday,
“She never slept with me. Every night, she was with him (Ram Rahim). The sect chief virtually made me a captive and did not allow my (then) wife Honeypreet to come to me.”
When Honeypreet never returned to Vishwas:
He said that one night, she didn’t come to room which made him very restless. In the morning at 5am, he asked a guard about Honeypreet but he remained silent. After some time, the guard came and told him that Baba was calling him. As claimed by Vishwas, when he went inside the cave, he saw that Honeypreet was in arms of Baba and she was crying. Baba said that he was suffering from fever and it was for this reason that she didn’t leave him alone as she is his daughter. After that day, Honeypreet never returned to Vishwas.
Baba & Honeypreet in a compromising position:
He also said that once he saw both of them in a compromising position in a naked state in the cave. In his words,
“The Baba threatened to get me and my family eliminated if I uttered anything about what I had seen. My life was ruined. After the threat, I left for my home. Two guards (of Ram Rahim) were given orders to eliminate me. We left the Dera in July 2011 and shifted to Panchkula. My father had sold all our properties and invested in the Dera campus. In Panchkula, I was trailed by Dera followers.”
Honeypreet filed fake cases against Vishwas & his family:
Vishwas also claimed that 5 fake cases were filed against him and his family by Honeypreet under the influence of Baba. They were harassed so much that in 2014, Vishwas’ father apologised to Baba in Dera. After this only, Honeypreet gave him divorce easily. However, the Dera chief refused to return Rs. 40 crore which was invested by Vishwas’ family in Dera.
Box of arms:
Vishwas also said this about Baba,
“He always carried a box of arms with him which his men put it in whichever car he travelled in. Ram Rahim is very powerful even though he is in jail. Once I go back from this press conference, I don’t know if you’ll see me again.”
Honeypreet has been booked under sedition by Haryana Police and is absconding since the evening of August 25. She also tried to make Baba escape after his conviction.
