These NIT Girls In Spite Of Rape And Murder Threat, Marched With A Tricolor!

After the defeat of India against West Indies in semifinal of World T20, there were some Kashmiri students who celebrated this loss. Owing to this, some non-Kashmiri students took objection and this led to lot of clashes between non-Kashmiri and local students. On 1st of April, the non-Kashmiri students held a protest march and waved the tricolor on campus. They tried hoisting it near the administrative block of NIT.

Things had resumed to normal by the 2nd of April and classes were to begin from Monday i.e. 4th of April. However, things became worse when everything was back to normal and then again, some student tried leaving the campus after confrontation with the police. There were allegations that the students were brutally beaten up and that girls were threatened to be raped and murdered. Now, girls have shown bravery by marching with a tricolor in the NIT campus.
