The “Mahasangathan” or the “Grand Alliance” came to an end in Bihar when Nitish Kumar resigned as the CM of Bihar yesterday. This was in a bid to fight corruption; he didn’t appreciate the way Lalu Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav didn’t give explanation despite being caught in corruption case.
As soon as he met governor Keshri Nath Tripathi and put down his papers, PM Modi took to Twitter to congratulate him and support him in this fight against corruption.
Even other politicians extended support to Nitish Kumar and gave him good wishes. However, hours after that, Nitish Kumar joined hands with BJP so as to form the next government. Yes, today, he was sworn in as the CM once again and this marked Ghar Wapsi i.e. return of JD (U)- BJP government in Bihar.
Sushil Modi, the Deputy CM and Bihar BJP leader, said that they have been invited for forming a government; Nitish Kumar took oath this morning.
