No More Entertainment Serials On Channel V! Want To Know The Reason?

Bad news for those who enjoy watching serials on Channel v. Unfortunately, Channel V, owned by Star India, is all set to return to its original form i.e. a Music channel. Yes, you heard it right.

Reports say that Channel V has decided to end up all its entertainment serials and regain its original identity of a music channel. Currently, there are several youth-centric shows aired on Channel V like ‘Gumrah’, ‘Sadda Haq’, ‘Dil Dosti Dance’ and ‘Mastaangi’ and have become a favorite among youngsters.

Yes, if reports are to be believed, all these shows are going to shut down and would be shifting to Hotstar, the video-streaming service of Star.

Yes, from this month, the shows are going to be available on the digital platform only. Reports confirmed that this development would be effective from the 1st of July. With this revamp, Channel V would get a new programming and a new identity. Even Channel V confirmed it on Twitter!
